How it all started...
A vision. A need. A call.
Untethered Church was born out of a vision to move beyond 21st century denominational politics and traditions of men and to recognize the church is a living movement that cannot be contained to a building. During a season of incredible revival in a group of students and young adults, God revealed a need for a return to the Acts Chapter 2 model of church family and outreach. The call was prayerfully answered and in July of 2018, Untethered Church opened its doors.
"Untethered?"...we get a lot of questions about the name. The idea evolved from a sermon series by our pastor, Mike Leroux. The series was eye opening in that God has revealed that we are created for so much more than just somehow "surviving life" and meeting together once a week to sing and pray. That God has a plan to deliver us from the chains of sin and guilt and manmade religion and the shallow things of this world and into a life of freedom and power and impact. That we are set free to live a life of meaning and truth.
We believe that we are called to this community with intention. And that we are uniquely positioned in this generation to demonstrate compassion, love, faith, joy, and hope to a world that desperately needs it.
Time is short so we are chasing the heart of God with everything we've got.

Expanding the vision...
Untethered had it's first service on July 4, 2018.
Yes, Independence Day!
To us that was no accident.
Since that day, God has been more than faithful to provide. We have renovated our Worship Center to make it a comfortable and welcome atmosphere.
In 2020, we added more space for church family growth with a multipurpose "cafe" called The Place. This is the home of our Student Ministry and Young Adult Ministries as well as a place for the family to gather for fellowship, meals, and parties.
As we continue to grow, we are always forward-thinking about what may come next. The Lord has been with us every step of the way and we can't wait to see what God does next.

Where we are headed...
We will continue to boldly go wherever God leads. Our desire is to see hearts and lives transformed by the Gospel. As we remain faithful to that call, we believe the impact and influence of this ministry will grow and we will be a people ready to walk through whatever door God opens next.
Be a part of our story...
We are located in the same complex as Goodwill and Ming Moon Chinese Restaurant
