Pastor Mike’s story is one of rescue and redemption. After spending much of his young adult life running from God, he found himself in the wreckage of his own decisions. It was there, at rock bottom, that the radical love of Jesus broke through. The church reached out, embraced him, shared the Gospel, and walked with him into freedom. 

The chains fell, and a new life in Christ began. For over 25 years, Pastor Mike and his wife, Ali, have served the Lord together across various ministries, nurturing a loving family along the way. In 2018, Mike helped launch UC, where he continues to share the hope and healing he first received.

Shane and Elsie Breeden married in 2018 with a purpose to serve as one in the Kingdom. In various capacities, God has grown them and His purpose has carried them. No matter what, they’re in this together for Him. Their different backgrounds, experiences, and callings complement one another in this mission to preach the Gospel. Joining the Untethered family and leadership team in 2022, Shane leads Wednesday evening service, assists in men’s group activities, and discipleship classes.

Sean is the head of our Youth Ministry here at Untethered.  He and his wife, Lea, have two children: Connor and Alayna.  He and his family love Jesus and have a passion for seeing the upcoming generation accept and follow Christ. When Sean is not serving at Untethered, he enjoys volunteering with the local VFW, watching movies, and attending his daughter's volleyball games -- Go Bruins!!

Brett Sims serves as the Children’s Pastor at Untethered Church along with his wife Tabitha, where they both are passionate about helping kids discover Jesus in a way that’s fun, simple, and unforgettable.

With a heart for families and a gift for connecting with children of all ages, Brett creates an environment where every kid feels seen, valued, and excited to learn about God. When he’s not teaching or planning high-energy lessons, you can usually find him cracking jokes, building relationships, or dreaming up new ways to make church the best hour of a child’s week.

Hannah leads our Untethered Worship Team. Singing for much of her life, she has moved into the role as mentor to our incredible team. From the second Hannah opens her mouth the Spirit pours out on His people. Hannah is now molding this younger generation with this same fire and passion.
Pictured with her husband Zack, one of our young Watchmen, this dynamic couple is a great example of the hands, feet and heart of Christ. 

Malik is gifted in a variety of ministry roles, but his primary focus is leading our tech team. This ministry is vital in this generation. Malik serves by working with his team to create an atmosphere for communicating the Gospel through the fusion of technical and creative arts. This includes sound, media, lighting, and broadcasts.

"Our heart for ministry ( speaking for me and Melanie because we are and have been unified in our vision for ministry from the beginning of our marriage) is to see people experience the heart transformation that comes from turning to Jesus from all other alternatives, and finding the absolute freedom that comes with that decision.

Encouraging, teaching, and praying for each other, so that we will be steadfast and serious in our faith. Leading lives that point others to Jesus by our speech and conduct. We believe this is best accomplished through the fellowship of the church, sharing our lives, showing hospitality, and loving each other"

Debbie and her husband Tim have been married for 41 years, they have 2 sons and 6 Grandchildren.  

"We love serving our Lord and giving him praise for all he has done in our marriage and our walk with him.
We have a passion for those in need and we pray God will always lead us to minister and serve those who need love and compassion.

Tim and I coordinate the food pantry in our church and I oversee the church nursery and the ladies Ministry.  These two ministries are dear to my heart.  My prayer is the precious babies we love on each service will grow up to be precious souls for Christ.

The ladies ministry is another ministry where I pray the ladies who attend our meetings will feel the love of Christ from us and know they are loved."
